Sophisticated cutting and kitting tools allow us to precisely control fibre direction throughout the construction and reduce joint requirements using CAD data to create complex flattened profiles. The latest nesting software, with optimised nesting algorithms, enables us to reduce material waste when kitting complex laminate constructions, whilst ensuring repeatability for consistent product performance even with smaller components.
X-Y ‘Drag Blade’
This cutters’ 10 metre bed allows us to accurately cut large ply profiles from a wide range of materials.
X-Y ‘Reciprocating Blade’
The reciprocating blade enables us to process multiple layers of materials and allows us to maintain ply accuracy when cutting blade resistant aramid materials.
