Supporting the Defence & Security Industries
We at NP Aerospace hope you are keeping safe and well in these difficult times.
Over the past few months we have been less active on social media and in the press but since being identified by the UK Ministry of Defence and by the Government as a key manufacturer and service provider, we have focused on maintaining those key business operations during the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic.
First and foremost, we have ensured the safety and well-being of our employees and their families, our colleagues and customers by adopting all Government guidelines. We have worked tirelessly to re-organise our manufacturing facilities, both in the UK and Canada, permitting us to remain safe and meet all of our customer requirements across the world. For that we would like to thank our employees who have made this possible and all of the other defence, health and emergency workers who are working hard to protect us as we go about our daily lives.
From a business perspective, we are very encouraged by the progress we have made. We have seen significant growth in our vehicle armour, personal armour and Bomb Disposal suit product lines, which is extremely positive news and we continue to see significant ongoing activity within our Protected Mobility Fleet vehicle programme with the UK MoD.
We hope that you and your businesses are doing well in your COVID-19 recovery efforts and that the defence and security industries show continued success.

We Are Open For Business
We hope this message finds you, your employees, family and friends safe and well during these challenging times.
NP Aerospace is a major supplier of products and services to the UK Ministry of Defence (UK MoD) and other global defence organisations. Having reviewed our current programme of work, the UK MoD has determined that our company and our workers, who are directly supporting Government contracts, are deemed to be key to supporting current operations and/or the response to COVID-19.
In addition to supporting the UK MoD, NP Aerospace is also on the frontline when it comes to supporting the medical sector with our oncology beds and our Police Forces and Emergency services with vital safety and protection equipment, both in the UK and other key markets – Canada, USA and New Zealand.
Over the last week our Senior Management Team has been meeting to assess the developing situation and has exercised discipline and judgement in line with both UK Government and World Health Organisation advice. Our number one objective is to ensure that we are taking all appropriate steps to protect our people, their families, the public and our NHS whilst maintaining as much as is practicable, our services to the UK MoD and other frontline customers.
As a result, we have identified and maximised the number of people who can work from home and they are now doing so. The workers who have been identified as key and that work on site in our factory will continue to do so in line with current Government advice and with additional health and safety measures to protect them.
It should be stressed that we have implemented these special measures to minimise the threat of infection and only those whose work is deemed to be absolutely vital to the safety and operational effectiveness of Armed Forces and Emergency Services, will continue to work on site. We would like to express our thanks to our key workers for their personal sacrifice during this time.
Despite the immense challenge we are all under, NP Aerospace is endeavouring to conduct business as usual. We remain in constant communication with our suppliers and customers and will review and adapt our arrangements as required and as the situation evolves.
UK Defence Minister, Jeremy Quin, has sent out the following Thank You to defence employees; “Defence industry workers are a vital part of the UK economy. The skill, commitment and determination shown by this invaluable workforce in the last few weeks has been phenomenal. We remain ever grateful for your continued service and resolve throughout this challenging time.”
We at NP Aerospace would like to echo this thanks to both our own workers and to all the other defence, health and emergency workers globally and throughout the UK.
If you have any questions about our current situation and our actions in regard to COVID-19, then please contact us directly at info@npaerospace.com
Thank you,
